Delete your Bed Quitter account

An account is optional in Bed Quitter. It keeps a backup of your alarms, settings and results in your Google account, so a new phone can get them back, and invites go through it. Deleting it removes that backup, your part in invites and the account. The alarms on your phone stay until you uninstall the app.

In the app

  1. Open Bed Quitter and go to Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap your name.
  3. Tap Delete account, then Delete. Google asks you to choose your account once more to confirm it's you.

Your backup, your part in invites and your account are deleted straight away.

Without the app

Email support@bedquitter.app from the Google account you signed in with, asking us to delete your account. We delete the account, its backup and its part in invites within 30 days and reply when it's done.

What is deleted: your Bed Quitter sign-in (name, email and account ID), your backup (alarms, settings, movement setup, results and totals, with when and on which phone it was saved) and your part in invites (which invite code is yours, and which friend's code you came in with). The lines your friends left under your code stay, with nothing that leads back to you, so a friend you invited still gets their streak save.

What isn't kept: no photo, video or body points from the camera are ever backed up, so there are none to delete. Optional anonymous crash and reliability reports aren't linked to your account.
